The Inspiroy is back with the Q11K – a durable, large surface drawing tablet. One of the things that make the Q11k stand out from other tablets is that the working area is 11” x 7,” so it has far more space to draw than other tablets.
But the larger size does make the tablet a little less portable than other models.
A top 10 best drawing tablet from our buyer’s guide, it’s a solid tablet that has a slight flex and the industry’s latest features.

Huion Inspiroy Q11k Review
Connect wirelessly with the 2.4 GHz wireless connection and get started on your next project. Setup is fast and easy, and you’ll be able to maintain a wireless distance of 10 – 20 meters. A 2500 mAh built-in battery, featuring lithium-ion batteries, allows for 40 hours of continuous use before needing to recharged.
The Q11k comes with an upgraded pen, and the pen has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity.
Sensitivity & Pen
With higher levels of sensitivity, you’ll be able to create smoother, more precise lines. You’ll also find that the pen has two customizable buttons to make your workflow more streamlined. On a full charge, the pen has the capacity to last for around 350 hours. The pen does not feature an eraser due to battery being situated at the back of the pen.
When you’re done drawing, place the pen horizontally or vertically in the pen holder.
You’ll notice that the stylus has a nice weight to it and a nice hold. The stand that comes with the tablet also has a storage area where you can fit several replacement nibs. A total of eight nibs are present.
The nib remover is built into the stand, so you don’t have to worry about a separate remover which gets clunky and cumbersome.
The USB receiver also sits inside of the stand and is what you’ll plug into your computer to be able to enjoy wireless connectivity.
Eight physical buttons are on the tablet, all of which have a firm click to them. The buttons can be mapped to specific keyboard shortcuts, so you’ll be able to customize your entire drawing experience.
Charging is easy, and you’ll find that there’s a charging port on top of the tablet. A power switch alongside the port. There is no automatic shutdown or sleep mode provided, so you’ll need to remember to shut off the tablet yourself or risk running out of juice in the process.
The tablet can be used while charging using the USB cable that’s provided.
When it comes to compatibility, the tablet works well on:
- Windows 7+
- Mac OS X 10.10 or later
Program support should also be considered. The majority of the leading programs will work well with the Q11K, but there are a few programs that won’t work. The official compatibility list includes support for:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Clip Studio
- Manga Studio
While you cannot use the Q11K on a Chromebook, you will find that it works well with an iPad. It connects fast and is easy to setup so that you can use the Q11K on any device that you choose.
There was a time when a Wacom would beat out any Huion tablet on the market, but the Q11K seems to have pushed the manufacturer to an entirely new level. Huion’s tablet compares to the Wacom, and the price is far lower.
You’ll be receiving the industry’s leading technology for less than half the cost of a Wacom.
The only slight difference is that this tablet, while durable, feels a little less sturdy than most Wacom tablets. But the battery life is long, wireless connectivity works exceptionally well and the customization of the keys compares to even the top-tier drawing tablets on the market.
- Reacts quickly to the pen’s pressure
- Charge time is exceptional for the pen and tablet
- Comes with 8 additional pen tips and all charging cables
- Doesn’t work well with PSP Ultimate
One issue that a consumer had when purchasing this tablet is that it doesn’t work well with Paint Shop Pro Ultimate. Users have had success with all of Adobe’s software and other software options, but not with Ultimate. I am not sure if this issue has been rectified, but it’s truly a software issue and not the fault of the Q11K.
Otherwise, the longevity of the batteries and the high level of sensitivity make working with the Huion Inspiroy Q11K a pleasure.
It’s fast and responsive, you have several customization options and the design is well-planned. Even the storage on the pen holder and the nib remover have been created with the utmost in planning so that you can confidently remove nibs.
